Chamber Events

The North Baltimore Area Chamber of Commerce sponsors various events throughout the year in North Baltimore, which help bring local and area businesses together, offer networking opportunities, and allow members to be involved with the community overall. Chamber members are encouraged to actively participate with the these events. The year kicks off with the Annual Dinner Meeting, followed by The Community Garage Sale Days, the NB Summerfest and more.... Chamber members have many opportunities to become involved. Volunteers help out each year to make sure these events are successful and fun. See below for list of Chamber sponsored events.

April: The Annual Dinner Meeting is held each April. Dinner and a program/guest speaker is planned each year. Every other year is a "Display Year" in which members have an opportunity to promote their company or organization.

June: North Baltimore Community Garage Sale Days is held each June. This is our annual day for community wide garage sales. Various contests are held for both Sellers and Buyers. Prizes for the contests are courtesy of local and area businesses.

NB Farmers Market opens in June and runs till the Fall, typically October. Come on down to the Gazebo at the corner of N Main/E Broadway for some great buys: veggie, fruit, honey, arts and crafts, gourd crafts, and more.......

July: The Good Ole Summertime Festival is always held the last Saturday in July. This local festival first started in 1980. Currently, the festival is held in Downtown North Baltimore. Enjoy the day with great food, live music, a car show, 5k Race, golf tournament, games, rides, and more. The day ends with a Spectacular Fireworks show at the North Baltimore Village Park.

September: The Annual Golf Outing is held in September at Birch Run Golf Club, NB. A fun day is planned for Chamber members and guests. A steak dinner is provided by Birch Run. Team pictures are provided for each team and contests are planned at various holes.

October: The Annual Halloween Parade kicks off at Powell Elementary School and travels south on Main St. There is a best float contest and best costume costume. Snacks are provided to the community after the parade by the North Baltimore Fire Dept at the NB Fire Hall.

Nov-Dec: The Annual Santa Visit and Tree Lighting Ceremony is held the week after Thanksgiving. Santa and Mrs Claus arrive in North Baltimore on a horse drawn carriage, escorted by the North Baltimore Police Dept.

Dec-Jan: The After-Hours Gathering is held each year to give members a chance to socialize and network in a relaxed atmosphere.
